Our Ethiopia Sidama Guji originates from the Sidama state which is South of the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.  Thousands of small farmers grow coffee at high altitudes where the Rift Valley meets the Bale Mountains.  Farms in this area range between one and twenty hectares with banana, mango, and coffee trees all growing amongst each other. 

Once harvested, the coffee is brought to central washing stations where it is washed with mountain spring water where it is fermented for 72 hours and sun-dried for two weeks.
