Kenya Nyeri Giakanja coffee is sourced from family owned farms organized around the Giakanja Farmers Co-operative Society (FCS), in Nyeri County, Kenya.  Giakanja FCS was established in 1960, has one factory (wet mill), and more than 1,758 members. The cooperative processes coffee from farmers who generally have half acre plots averaging 250 coffee trees shaded with Bananas, Gravelia, and Macadamia trees.
