About the Coffee This coffee is sourced from various small coffee producers around the town of Takengon on the shores of Lake Laut Tawar in the far north-west region of the Island of Sumatra in Indonesia. These are very traditional, small family farms that produce limited amounts of coffee, usually alongside other crops that are used for the family’s own consumption.
This coffee produces an earthly complexity that is typical to Sumatran origins.
